Single Office setupIn a single office setup, as shown in the figure, telROuter forms the heart of your office telecom connection. It can either be connected via traditional PSTN (FXO and/or PRI) lines or simply with a VoIP servivce provider. The main detail to watch in this setup is that all the SIP phones, IAD's and softphones reside in your ssecured office network. Unless, you use a SIP provider your PBX resides inside your firewall. This kind of arrangement works fine in a small office with less than 20 people usually targetted towards a "headhunter" company or a consultancy company.. |
Multiple Office setupWhether you have sinlge office or multiple, telrouter lets you build and manage your solution with its advanced networking features. You can connect multiple telRouter systems with each other over internet and/or VPN. VPN connection or dedicated connection gives you extra security and Quality of Service(QoS) on the voice traffic between offices. The adjacent figures explains a scenario where your two offices will be connected via data connection and all the calls between one office to the other will be over IP and hence at no cost to you. This model can be applied to your partners/ clients who have a similar telRouter system in place, which will make calls between all of the parties over IP and hence no cost to you.

Multiple Access ScenariotelRouter system is flexible enough to allow configurations where your colleagues can register themselves remote, or register while they are traveling and still use the same phone/ extension number as they were in office. This enables to make and recieve your calls without the caller knowing your location. You will be able to dail the same way as you were in office. So call extention 2345 for Bob and dial 14085551212 if you wanted to call out. You will have all the Star Codes and Features including voicemail shorcuts. You can also connect a small satellite office if you wish to. Although |
